Where can you use metal countertops?

Countertops created from metal can be used in homes, restaurants, lobbies, and pretty much any interior setting. Metal countertops can be found in some of the most popular bars and restaurants in the world. For example, the famous Carousel Bar at Hotel Monteleone is a cast metal countertop.

Can you use them outdoors?

While some types of metal counters might be suitable for outdoor installations, cast metal tops are not because they’re not intended to hold moisture for extended periods of time. For that reason, it’s not advised to leave metal countertops outdoors uncovered.

How do you care for metal counters?

Caring for metal tops is easy. You simply clean them with non-abrasive cleaners, like mild soap and water. You should avoid leaving acid items, like lemons, directly on the surface. Make sure you use a trivet on the top for hot pots as to not burn the surface.

A complete care guide can be found here.
