Return and Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping at La Bastille.

If, for any reason, You are not completely satisfied with a purchase We invite You to review our policy on refunds and returns.

The following terms are applicable for any products that You purchased with Us.

Interpretation and Definitions


The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.


For the purposes of this Return and Refund Policy:

  • Company (referred to as either “the Company”, “We”, “Us” or “Our” in this Agreement) refers to Bastille Metal Works LLC, 517B Bourne Ave, Garden City, GA 31408.
  • Goods refer to the items offered for sale on the Service.
  • Orders mean a request by You to purchase Goods from Us.
  • Service refers to the Website.
  • Website refers to La Bastille, accessible from
  • You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.

Conditions for Returns

In order for the Goods to be eligible for a return, please make sure that:

  • The Goods were purchased in the last 7 days
  • The Goods are in the original packaging

The following Goods cannot be returned:

  • The supply of Goods made to Your specifications or clearly personalized.
  • The supply of Goods which according to their nature are not suitable to be returned, deteriorate rapidly or where the date of expiry is over.
  • The supply of Goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery.
  • The supply of Goods which are, after delivery, according to their nature, inseparably mixed with other items.

We reserve the right to refuse returns of any merchandise that does not meet the above return conditions in our sole discretion.

Only regular priced Goods may be refunded. Unfortunately, Goods on sale cannot be refunded. This exclusion may not apply to You if it is not permitted by applicable law.

Returning Goods

You are responsible for the cost and risk of returning the Goods to Us. You should send the Goods at the following address:

We cannot be held responsible for Goods damaged or lost in return shipment. Therefore, We recommend an insured and trackable mail service. We are unable to issue a refund without actual receipt of the Goods or proof of received return delivery.


Pricing is based on material chosen and square footage. If square footage increases by more than five square feet from the estimated square footage, a change order may be issued for the increase in size.


La Bastille specializes in living metals. They respond to their environment. Changes in the tone of surfaces will happen naturally with use. A patina, or slight darkening, will occur over time. Marks that do appear fade and blend over time. If a darker finish is selected, the markings will appear lighter. This is not a defect but the nature of the materials selected. If a cast project, minuscule casting divots and small surface variations are inherent when casting metal, creating an authentic and superior product.


Payments are accepted by credit card, ACH, wire transfer or check. Checks are made payable to La Bastille and sent to 517B Bourne Avenue, Garden City, GA 31408. Deposits are non-refundable. Upon receipt of deposits, specialized materials are ordered. The project is put into the scheduling queue. If a project is cancelled for any reason, 80% of the monies paid are credited toward an additional project for up to one year from the date of the initial payment.


La Bastille assumes no responsibility for miscalculations in measurements or drawings. Final signature of shop drawings constitutes client’s responsibility for all measurements. If templating is required, we will send you templating instructions. The measurements and specifications must be exact. We cannot accept paper or cardboard templates or templates that are made of multiple pieces and glued together.


La Bastille reserves the right to place its logo on commercial bar top projects, commercial table tops and all range hoods.


La Bastille’s standard timeline is 7-9 weeks from the date of receipt of final approved drawings from our design team. Depending on the size of the order, a progress payment may be due upon signed drawing. Final payment is due upon the completion of the project in our shop, prior to shipping. Delays in shipping due to non-payment or project timeline revisions may be subject to additional storage fees.


Neither party will be liable for failure or delay to perform obligations under this Agreement, which have become practically impossible because of circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the applicable party. Such circumstances include without limitation natural disasters or acts of God; acts of terrorism; labor disputes or stoppages; war; government acts or orders; epidemics, pandemics or outbreak of communicable disease; quarantines; national or regional emergencies; or any other cause, whether similar in kind to the foregoing or otherwise, beyond the party’s reasonable control. Written notice of a party’s failure or delay in performance due to force majeure must be given to the other party no later than five (5) business days following the force majeure event commencing, which notice shall describe the force majeure event and the actions taken to minimize the impact thereof. All delivery dates under this Agreement affected by force majeure shall be tolled for the duration of such force majeure. The parties hereby agree, when feasible, not to cancel but reschedule the pertinent obligations and deliverables for mutually agreed dates as soon as practicable after the force majeure condition ceases to exist.


Shipping is a standard curbside service. Shipper will remove shipment from the truck only. Oversized crates require a loading dock or forklift capable of maneuvering the crate. It will be the client’s responsibility to inspect the product before the driver leaves. If the product is damaged in shipping, the shipment should be refused for insurance purposes and the driver must be notified. DO NOT STORE THE CRATES OUTSIDE. Work gloves are recommended to remove pieces from the crate and installation.


International Shipping can be arranged door to door by air or by sea. Clients will be required to secure a customs broker to facilitate border crossing. Customs and duties fees are the responsibility of the client.


La Bastille warrants products for 1 year from the date of delivery. La Bastille takes great pride in our work and we stand by our product. La Bastille will repair or replace, at our discretion, any faulty product deemed to be the result of material or manufacturing defects for 1 year from date of delivery. This does not include damage due to improper handling, installation, consequences of inappropriate use of surface, improper maintenance of the surface, accidental damage, or leaving the uninstalled product in a non climate controlled or unsecured space for an extended period of time.


Client agrees to maintain the information contained in this proposal as confidential and not to reproduce or otherwise disclose any information to any person or entity outside of those directly responsible for the evaluation of its content. Pricing provided is valid for 90 days.
