Arthur Couch

Arthur is a seasoned manufacturing and operations leader with over three decades
of experience driving excellence across fabrication, assembly, logistics, and
production environments. His journey began on the shop floor as a fabrication
specialist, and through consistent results and a passion for improvement, he rose
through the ranks to hold pivotal leadership roles at industry giants like Caterpillar,
JCB, and Dollar Tree. A Six Sigma Greenbelt and Lean Manufacturing expert, Arthur
has repeatedly led major process improvements, reduced cycle times, and increased
throughput—often while simultaneously improving safety and product quality.
Arthur’s leadership style is defined by his proactive approach, deep technical
knowledge, and commitment to building high-performing teams. He has
successfully led greenfield start-ups, implemented comprehensive training and
promotion frameworks, and championed Lean strategies that transformed
operations—from boosting Caterpillar’s MHE output by 60% to scaling terminal truck
production at TICO from 2 to 7 units per day. At every stage, Arthur has driven
change through standardization, visual factory management, and an unwavering
focus on safety and efficiency.
Currently serving as Manager of Operations at La Bastille, Arthur is applying his
operational expertise to grow and streamline production.. He leads all aspects of
scheduling, team development, and material logistics, and recently expanded
casting capacity. Arthur’s mission is simple yet powerful: to challenge the status quo,
inspire his teams to reject mediocrity, and lead continuous improvement with
integrity and results. In his free time Arthur enjoys spending time with his two adult
sons, playing competitive golf and boating.
