The January/February issue of The Architect’s Newspaper marks our first issue of 2024. Our Features showcase collective forms of architecture, from employee ownership at the firm level to new solutions to affordable housing in cities. The Focus section, At Home, is our annual showcase of residential architecture and the most luxe and innovative projects to spec for your next project. This issue is also unique in that it celebrates 50 years of the iconic Herman Jessor–designed Co-op City in the Bronx with an exclusive photographic essay by Zara Pfeifer as well as an exclusive interview with Daniel Libeskind, who himself grew up in social housing in NYC and is now pivoting his practice to exclusively serve low-income and marginalized groups through design.
